The needles in the spot light

So I put my needles on my rav page and they have been going over well! I even had someone tell me I should open a etsy shop! I've been thinking about it but it still scares me! Maybe once we move I'll have more space and time to look into that! I think it could be fun! But I figured that I could at least post the pics of some of the stuff I have! I'll try to keep that updated! So here is what I've got so far... others are already packed for the move!





Ok, had enough of that? Me too! On to some actual knitting! I did get my dad's birthday socks done!

I've also started knitting for Baby Pea! I'm thinking this kid is going to have a sheep's worth of knit wear by the time it's born since I have until Sept. 30th and I've already got one project all but done! (I need to make some buttons!)

They were really cute and easy to make and TINY!!!! It almost make me want to have one of my own (another one that is).... I didn't know how to knit when I was prego with the bug but she did get a whole crib set hand sewn because I was on bed rest!


and look what she has become! She wears diapers on her head.... Gotta love her!

I'm alive! Cant breathe, but I'm alive!

Last Monday/Sundayish I came down with the dreaded Influenza/ Pneumonia! Yeap! I was dead! I dont remember a whole lot about the doctors trip but I do know they put me in a wheelchair cause I didn't look good... Well... I've come out of my cave and I am alive! I didn't get a whole lot of knitting done for the simple fact that it took me 2 days to do 1 round in a toe decrease! BLAH!

I did get my dad's birthday socks done and he will get them today so I will be able to post pics tomorrow! I made my DH model them in the pics cause I know I'll never get a pic with my dad wearing them! I'm pretty excited cause It's the first piece of knit wear that I made for my dad!
I really dont mean to cut this short, but It's hard to breathe and even harder to think!
Oh! I did get Bugs 2nd sock done and she loves them so much she has hidden them already! Once I get done with my mom's 2nd sock I'll officially have no sss socks! YEAH ME!

Oh! and let me tell ya! I'm GONNA BE AN AUNTIE!!!! My "sister" J is prego! Due the end of sept. so I have LOTS of knitting time! She says she wants green so I did get some green but I WILL NOT start that knitting until I get mom's sock done and DadR's gift done! Soon! Soon! I swear!

It's Valentines day!

I am slowly starting to feel better! This cold hit hard but didn't last very long! Soo! let me see... I have many things on my needles, the gift for my father in law is nearly half way and then it goes from 1x1 ribbing to stockinette so it will go really fast! I'm hoping to have it done next week. The birthday gift for my dad is about half done and I have until MONDAY! AHHHHHH!!!!
I'm sure I can do it! I also have a non-knitting realted gift for my parents 30 year wedding anniversary. I will put picks of all of them up hopefully by next week!

So last week I got my valentines swap package in the mail and as having another bad week I soo didn't wait until today to open it! It came form Red Alibi on Rav. The package was huge! I actually had to take 2 pics to show it off!


I have really enjoyed trying all the new dutch candy that we can't get here! I admit that my family and friends have enjoyed trying it all too!

Anyhow, I've gotta run (got a meeting) Happy Valentines Day everyone!

I got hit by the train!

It's the hat, mittens and scarf I made for Miss Lil!

Yeap! after everyone else in my house got sick and not me, I guess it's my turn. I got home from work yesterday and it hit me... like a train! I am still knitting as much as I can, didn't get much done yesterday but what can I say! I am going to be doing a total update on this ol' blog very soon!

I LOVE change, and hope I can find something I like! I'm also thinking about changing it all over to my web address. I went to school to be a web junkie and haven't done anything with it in a VERY long time! I spend all my time designing things or printing things or well... looking on Rav! I dont know how many people read this if there are any, HELLO!!!!

"Go to store yarn mommy?"

I have created my little yarn monster! I LOVE HER! She asks me everyday, "Mommy? Go to store yarn now?" - translation: she wants to go to the yarn store and buy yarn! I LOVE HER!!!

I'm bustin through trying to get things done! I did get Eve's gift done but I can't post that pic until I send it to her! But my list is down a bit this year! I only have like 40 things left for this year not to mention the fact that I am moving in June, and I keep finding new patterns!

I am working on a hat, scarf, mitten set for the Bug, which I got the scarf done, and I'm half way through the hat. I figure the mittens will be done this weekend too! She's little, it'll be easy!

I also started spinning! It's going ok, I'm still learning but I think eventually it's going to be way cool to knit something with my own spun yarn! I can't wait!I'm going to call this first bit of yarn "Snuffy" after Snuffleupogous from Seasame Street, It looks like him! (Adde and I figured this out watching "Follow that bird" one night).
