And then he turned 11...

I can't beleive the little man turns 11 today! I still remember our first birthday together he turned 5! (for those of you who dont know, I'm his second mom - But I AM mom! if you get my drift). Before I know it he is going to be out dating, and driving, and who knows what else, "boys will be boys!" Can't you put your kids in giant tuperware like on The Twilight Zone?

As for my knitting! I got a full sock done and 3/4 of the second! I did have to frog #2 of my mom's bday socks. I got down to the leg and realized I screwed up on the cuff! So Rippit! I am desperately awaiting my spindle. I believe it came on Sat. but THANKS TO THE MIGRAINE GODS.... I wasn't conscious enough to know it had come until it was to late! HOPEFULLY I will be picking it up today! I can't wait!

Well, It is Monday and so I will add a few pics from this weekend. We had one of my nephews over. Oh, and yes that is a pink girlie hat on Luke Skywalker, him and Darth Vader we going for a ride in a pink convertible! (gotta love a girls way of thinkin!)

I ordered more porn!

I officially ordered my first drop spindle today!!! I am so excited! I ordered it from Pancake and Lulu, and it was my first etsy order. I can't wait!

so Lili has been home sick all week. I don't know what she has but really it's a fever, but I can't send her to day care. Adam has been home with her except yesterday, I got to stay with her! I love to be with her, I wish I could be a stay at home mom, but that will never happen! Who knows, maybe someday!

Since I stayed home, I got nearly a whole sock done! It was awesome. After having the issues with my Tofutsie skein, and returning it... I was fearful of starting again!

Needless to say I did and I love it! I can't wait to finish them off and send them out! I'm done with one of my mom's cable clock socks, and I want to keep them! Alas, I have told her they are nearly done and so I can not!

I am so very excited for my spindle to come! I can't wait! Well, I'm drawing a blank....

Valentines Swap

I am hoping that I can get my swap partners Gifts ready by tonight and will be shipping by Wed! She lives across the "pond" So I want to make sure she gets it in time! I can't give too many hints on it..... hopefully it'll be out this week!

But to be honest, I dont have anymore time so I must sign off!

Being the boss is boring!

So the boss man left town this morning. I got all my work done (at least what I can do today) done by about 10:00am..... Now what? I'm sure I'll find other things to tinker with....
So in the mean time I am going to show of my SOMC yarn!

Let me think.... by the way that is realativly hard to do today! I think I may have left my brain at home! hmmm.... I am still working on the gifts that for some unknown reason they are taking forever! grrr....

Oh! I got my first knitpicks order yesterday!

it's hiding in my desk drawer! Thats what should be in everyone drawer at work!
